First off...
Woodmen Valley Chapel is one church in multiple locations. We have two campuses - each unique in its own way. Try the one closest to you, or the one that fits you best. Switch is the middle school ministry for 7th/8th grade students of Woodmen Valley Chapel and Switch has services at both of Woodmen's campuses. sunday night
This is a night designed to impact the lives of 7th and 8th grade students with the truth of Jesus Christ. This service is our entry point into Switch, and we encourage students to invite their friends and first time guests to check it out. At Switch you can expect a welcoming environment, fun games, cool giveaways, awesome worship, interactive Biblical teaching, and an exciting place to connect with new and old friends.
Every Sunday night we meet from 5:45-7:30pm at both campuses.

Our Vision
We are about introducing and inviting 7th/8th grade students to the story that God is writing in human history. It is about life with a capital "L"-- here and now, and for the rest of eternity.

Events
Blow Up Switch: This Sunday, February 5
Doors Open at 4 pm; Kickoff at 4:30 pm
Bring your best chili and your friends! We'll have inflatables including four-person jousting and a bungee run, video game systems, and The Big Game on the Big screen. We'll also provide snacks and drinks. This is a FREE event. All students need to be picked up within 30 minutes after the game ends. This is a combined event in the RRCC Gym for WH and RR Switch.
Upcoming Series: Bad Romance
On February 12 we will begin a new 4-week series on Sex & Relationships called, Bad Romance. In a world where students are constantly surrounded by a variety of voices telling them mixed messages about sex and dating, we feel it's important to come alongside parents as an additional voice speaking out for purity, holiness, and godly choices. Parents, prior to this series, you'll be receiving an email with summaries of what will be discussed each week, questions for your students, and suggested tools and resources.
Students, join us on February 12 as we kick off this new series with style by inviting everyone to
dress up
and enjoy a good dinner and community. It's FREE! Girls, break out that dress you've been dying to wear. Guys, just step it up a little bit this week. Come early at 5:15 for pictures and snacks and the night will begin at 5:45 pm.

Our new discipleship training happens on Sunday mornings, during the 11:15 am service at the RR campus and in a host home on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm for the WH campus. While students hear a Biblical teaching every week at Switch, that service is geared towards the students who are unsure about their faith, church, and God.
360 is for students who desire to take the next step in knowing God and growing closer to Him. Expectations are higher and its not the place for students who just want to have fun. Small groups will be fun because of the growth and relationships that are built, but the purpose is spiritual growth.

Missions
Once you have found a way to get involved on Sunday nights, it's time to start exploring more options. And there are plenty. Here's a few ways to go deeper.
Mission trips are a great way to grow your faith, get to know people, and see what God is up to in the world outside Colorado Springs. We have mission trips over Spring Break, as well as in the summer.

It's how we talk about life here in SouledOut - God first, others second, me third. Explore what it's like when we put faith into action, locally and globally. Click on the picture for more info!
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized! We would be both thrilled and honored to walk through this process with you. Click on the picture for more info!
Get Involved
At Switch, we're always on the lookout for great adults (18 or older) to help us lead middle school students closer to Christ. Even if you're not ready to commit, but just have some questions, let us help you get started.
Step 1 - Opportunities
Step 2 - Interest
Step 3 - Contact
Let us take it from here!
If you've done the work of letting us know you're interested, we'll take over from here. By filling out the interest form, we now have a way of contacting you. Expect to hear from us in the next two weeks, to set up a time to meet, talk through some important details and find the right place for you to start serving!
Online Interest Form
Fill out the online interest form by clicking a link below. In order to get started, you'll need to create a "myWVC" account. If you don't have one, simply set one up and then move on to the form. If you need help at anytime, simply click the "help" button on the side and our technical staff will help you out.
Don't worry ... you're not committing to anything ... yet. This is just to get us started.

ReMix Leader (Sunday Night)
This opportunity is for those adults who are interested in connecting and building relationships with 7th and 8th grade students in a large group environment. These leaders focus on pouring into students lives by worshipping alongside them, being intentional with learning students' names, and leading a 30 minute discussion time called "ReMix" to help them apply that night's message. Leaders work with the same gender and grade-based group each week, creating opportunities for mentoring, discipleship and community.
360 Small Group Leader (Sunday Mornings (RR) or Tuesday evenings (WH)
Our new discipleship training happens on Sunday mornings, during the 11:15 am service at the RR campus and in host homes on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm for the WH campus. Adult leaders will guide students through Bible-based curriculum, led weekly by one of our staff members. If you desire to challenge students to grow in Christ through word and example in a small group environment, this opportunity is for you.
Food Team (Sunday Night)
Each Sunday night, we serve an easy-to-make dinner for our students. It creates a great environment and gives adults a behind-the-scenes place to serve. Team members can serve monthly (or more!). We're also looking for a Food Team Coordinator who can help coordinate team members, plan menus and assist with shopping.
Welcome Desk (Sunday mornings and/or Sunday evenings)
The welcome desk is the first area students and their parents see when coming to Small Groups on Sunday morning or Switch on Sunday night. It's the place where they check-in, sign-up for events, and gather information about the ministry. First impressions are key and our desire is to make every student feel welcome and valued. If you have a welcoming attitude but don't have the time or availability to form deep relationships with students, this is the position for you.
